The only other details we have at the moment are from an on scene witness who states, "The shots came from a car i've never seen before. The only other thing I remember is that there was some real weird music coming from the vehicle."

We have some more news on the Meloh9 drive-by shooting.
According to information we have received from a doctor at the local hospital, Meloh9 was shot 31 times in the chest and 21 times in the back. Amazingly, he is expected to survive.

In a strange turn of events, this incident has started an insane bidding war among competing Gangsta Rap organizations for Meloh9's services.

Yes, apparently the earlier stories have been confirmed. Verge member Meloh9 has been shot repeatedly but is currently recuperating in this hospital behind me. We were trying to get in , but the area is crowded with hospital staff, band members, music industry scouts and other insiders.

Unfortunately, this is just the latest in a series of deadly encounters in the music community. Last month, one individual apparently decided if that getting shot can improve your standing, and give respect in today's Hip hop climate, he would take it to the next level...

Calling himself TNT, his plans actually did involve dynamite. Sadly, a staged publicity stunt didn't go as planned, though a sound engineer on hand did record the event--- it apparently only consisted of the following: (plays tape)-



"Yo, Yo!! Mufukkkas out there gotta know,
A man like me ain't just--

"Aaaaiiiiieeeee!!!!!....

"...KA-BLAM!!!!!"

Sadly, TNT himself perished in the detonation, but the ambitious engineer was able to take the track, throw on some overdubs, and was able to get Pharrell to do a hip remix on it. Apparently response to airplay has been enthusiastic, with one fan claiming, " This is some explosive shit, yo!!!".....

It grieves my heart to know one of my closest friends and childhood comrades has been involved in a terrible act of violence. Suzie Mixture: This is Suzie Mixture and I'm standing directly across the street from the hospital that original member and founder of The Verge, Meloh9, lays wounded from multiple gun shots that happened in a drive by shooting.
