Glad to see someone mentioned "Come Together" by Marcus Miller (though, wasn't that solo Lennon?)
My vote goes to Bela Fleck and the Flecktones' cover of "Michelle." Melodic bluegrass jazz with virtuosos improvising on their instruments of choice. It doesn't get any better than that. | |
