How big is your record collection? I'm still pretty young and my cd/lp collection is not all that big yet, I have about 200 CDs, about 10 CD singles, 6 LPs (all Prince... yea I know...I need to get me more of these  ) and 1 LP single. So anyway I'd like to know how many records do y'all older cats own  I mean surely tA and vain etc etc have huge record collections. NOTE: This thread is not only for the older folks, even though I'd especially like to hear about their collections. Feel free to participate y'all  It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

Ok now keep in mind, I DJ...
@ 2500 cds (when I ripped them this summer, it came out to almost 55,000 songs) 200 records 300 cassetts and about 45 8-tracks and I'm not that old....just 2 weeks shy of 30 http://www.facebook.com/p...935246593a

I am also working on building up my collection, but amassing a vast amount of albums will take some time. Especially since I'm pretty much only interested in purchasing funk & soul albums... yes... Records -- Approx. 75-80
Cassettes -- Approx 70 left (conversions to MP3's resulted in about 100 getting sent to Goodwill CDs -- I've slowed my purchasing patterns quite a bit, so I'm probably up to about 700. Had I kept up the pace I had a few years back, the number would be double. This doesn't include iTunes tracks, mix CDs and LPs at my folks' house that I haven't reclaimed.
