Floetry

Can anyone tell me what they know about Floetry? They sound really smooth and nice. I get the Jazz Cafe e-Newsletter from London and they appear there a lot.
Should I check out one of their CDs?
I have the new Earth Wind and Fire CD Illuminations and they collaborated on a couple of tracks. This CD is the first time I have actually heard Floetry. Yes, tA, I know you think the EW&F CD is drek barf

I saw them a few months ago at the Jazz Cafe. The place was totally packed and they did 5 or 6 nights in a row there too.

Yeah, scoop it up, ESPECIALLY to hear Marsha's hellafied voice. Nat's rapping gets annoying at times but Marsha saves the day with her beautiful voice.

All three of their CDs are fab. There's standouts from each one.

I'd start with their latest album "Flo'Ology" just to get a taste of where they are headed. Killer cut on there called "Closer." Then, you can look back at their debut and all the great tunes on that disc. The third in line (for me, anyway) would be their live set. Although there are some nice sonic moments by the ladies in certain tunes, you'd be better off picking up their debut before this one, IMHO.

And, while this is totally unrelated, it wouldn't hurt picking up Les Nubians' One Step Forward album as well. That CD was a KILLAH and they deserve some shine, too.

I heard Dr Dre asked Marsha to come to his company. She's supposedly considering it.
