Lewis Taylor is musician from the UK that defies categories and boundaries. He plays all the instruments, sings, writes, and produces his own stuff, and his music sounds like a cross between Marvin Gaye, Brian Wilson, Todd Rundgren, Shuggie Otis, Prince, Stevie Wonder, and Yes...

His Fans include D'angelo, Chaka Khan, David Bowie the late Aliyaah, Elton John (who pulled out one of Lewis's discs during a talk show and pleaded with folks to go buy it), Pharrell, Daryl Hall, Timbaland, Don Was, Leon Ware, and Paul Weller, and critics laud his albums, but most of the public has never heard of him, and until recently he was even flying under the radar of most underground fans, even in the UK...

His album Stoned was recently rereleased in the U.S., and now there finally seems to be a small international buzz....

I have tickets. I will be there unless something comes up at work. Monday nights can be iffy for me sometimes. I am going to do everything I can to make the show, however.
