Centipede?!

Yo, this track was the bomb diggity. Did any of you have the album? Is it any good? I'm assuming it's out of print. How can I get my hands on this? Was the album more or less like the single?

Rebbie (Maureen) was the finest Jackson girl. Have y'all seen her on The Jacksons variety show back in 76' and 77' she was fine.

I think in 1998 she attempted a comeback and I think both VH1 and BET had her back and played her nice pop single "Your Faithfully". I think the album had "Centipede" on it and might have been a hits/best of album with half new tracks kind of thing.

Yes, it´s also on the "yours faithfully" album.

I looked on Amazon, assuming that album was no longer in print but dirt cheap...wrongo! It sells for close to sixty dollars! It is available on Itune, track by track.

It´s an average pop/soul/r´n´b album with few really nice tracks. There´s also Rebbies version of Fly away, which I think is the best song on the album, although I prefer Michael´s. It´s fresher. This one´s too slow. It has Mike´s background vocals on it - really nice.

Not sure..I don't own it. After this thread I got the wake up call to see how much it is. It might be cheaper on Ebay (I'm sure they must be selling a new copy for that much on Amazon). I don't think the album was supposed to be a greatest hits..."Centipede" is apparently updated. BTW, to Tom and others, you can also buy the video for "Centipede" online! I would, but it would take forever to download and it doesn't play very well on my computer.

Update!

I just downloaded "Centipede" from Itunes and the verison on "Yours Faithfully" isn't an "update" (at least I don't hear any difference at all,,,could be that Itunes got hold of the original, which is why it's track by track, but I doubt it...the reviewer was probably just wrong). "Yours Faithfully" can be found at a decent price but you won't like where it's available....WalMart.com...so is it worth it?

This song is cool cause it sounds like something Prince woulda wrote for one of his female "proteges", only better.

I have to agree, and I love the Prince protege tracks! I think this just might be Micheal Jackson's best song...is that crazy?

Heartbreak Hotel (This Place Hotel) is probably his best compisition; a more sophisticated Billie Jean.

It's catchy, but the lyrics are really weird if you think about it. Why compare sexual attraction to a disgusting bug?
