What Sarah Vaughan cds should i get?

I`ve heard so much about her music, but i don`t have a single cd of her.
It looks like she`s a favorite among many orgers, so i was wondering if you
could recommend any albums, and maybe tell me a little about the songs.

I would start with the Essential Sarah Vaughan.
Then try The Ultimate Sarah Vaughan, Sarah Vaughan After Hours, or Sarah Vaughan w/Clifford Brown.

I`ve heard a few songs, and she did have a very unique voice, and she used her voice like no one else.
Her voice sounded very different on her records, i prefer the early Sarah, so your recommendations seem perfect

Any artists from that period (Sarah, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong), their best work is from their early years....as their popularity grew, their talent became more of a commodity as opposed to an art - more commercialized, in other words.
