I'm only on track 2, Get Together. I like it in a very early 80s house way, but it also sounds kinda thin. Lyrics are really soft. Just started Sorry and it's...okay. Can't wait to dig into the rest.

I knew it was going to be used, but I'm annoyed with the Donna Summer I Feel Love bassline interpolation on Future Lovers. I dunno, it's such an easily identifiable bassline that it's a bit of a distraction.

Wait...she actually did rhyme "New York" and "dork?"

i like it okay. i'm not blown away. my problem with it is that it's a bit of a downer and quite subdued for something that was described as an all-dance, "no ballads, no messages" album.


but of the 11 songs i've heard, i like 8 of them, so i give it a thumbs up overall.

i really wish that damn link didn't have a per hour limit! i'm so out of the loop right now! i wanna be in on things!!!



anyway, if hung up, sorry, and (especially) isaac are the worst tracks on the record, this could be one of her best! i really like those...and isaac is H O T!!

i wish we could get a moderator to stick this thread, and unstick the other one. maybe if we all sit around and chant the lyrics to Isaac ...

Knowing everybody's heard it makes it hard for me to resist. But I know that listening to albums before I actually own them can be a huge letdown for me, and I'm not gonna chance it with Madonna.
