I think it should be offically called "Thrown off a Major Label Contractual Obligation Album". That's just a guess.

BTW, if they put a little thought/effort/care into this, they would include the hit remix of "I Wish I Didn't Miss You". But as we can see...

I totally missed out on her last CD (as did everyone else). Didn't the first single feature Snopp Dogg? Guess they forgot or didn't care!

A little story behind that:

I was at this chick's crib on New Year night...and I was trying to get her to give up the goodies and she was playing Angie's latest CD and it sounded hella good at the time (She had it on repeat cuz it took me a while to convince her that "I" should be the one she fucks on New Years and NOT her hubby who was out of town at the time..yeah, scandalous as hell, I know...but hey, someone's gotta be the cad, right? biggrin) and I liked it so much that I scooped it up the next day and the shit just didnt hit me like it did that night.

So, I don't know if it was the pussy that made it sound good or what, but I'm not feeling it.

but she hasnt had any successes.....take w&l for instance..the studios have released two greatests hits from them but they dont call them that...one is called "are you my baby" and i cant remember what the other one is called.

its a bit presumptious for a label (or an artist) to call something "the very best of" when they havent registered with record buying public..whats the point?

perhaps that is their "Very best of" thus far,It's not their fault the fickle music buying public hasn't caught on...now if this same release was marketed as a "Greatest Hits collection" then I would see your point.

As it was stated Earlier in this thread, this CD is Filler for a Contract, Angie is gone from the label, thats also why the old photo for the cover. Very similar to the "remixes" that Toni Braxton came out with a few months back on BMG and also very similar to the Upcoming "BRITNEY REMIXED" cd coming 11/15 her deal is up too. In Angie's case its more of a "im outta here" type of thing, For Britney she will probably resign with them, but BMG needs whatever product they can get from Britney at this point.

If she looks "mean" at all it's because she knew this old ass photo was going to be used to a contractual obligation album. Actually, the reason it look so familar is because it is also the cover of "I Wish I Didn't...".

I guess she's deciding to cooperate with J records for this; because on MTV.com there is a burb of her talking about the single "I Wasn't Kidding"- one of the new songs on the Best Of. Vada Nobels produced it.
