I will admit to liking an Andy Gibb song.

You all have to admit, the late, coke head, Andy Gibb was pretty lame, but he did do one really good song; don't Throw It All Away On Love. A very pretty ballad, real heart felt and soulful. A good song to get your lady or guy hot.

Really affects me, sometimes, that tune. touched No hatin, you meanies.lol.

on his vh1 behind the music special, there was a song of his that was played at the end that had the lyrics....like an arrow through the heart.....steady and your aim is true...i'm too young to die..... is that the one you're speakin on?

Don't Throw It All Away (Our Love) is one of the best Gibb compositions. I even like Babs new rendition of it. Andy wasn't as talented as the other Brothers Gibb, but he could sing and with their support he became a good pop star. He had some good number:

Shadow Dancing
An Everlasting Love
I Just Want to Be Your Everything
(Love Is) Thicker Than Water

I don't know that his albums are worth owning beyond a greatest hits set, but there's no embarrassment in liking his music.

Those are the only two that I have heard and I like them.

There's certainly no shame in it. I was looking for a greatest hits from him last weekend, with no luck. I'm looking for Leif Garrett too for the song "I Was Made For Dancing". lol

You haven't heard Don't Throw It All Away? And he's got one of those 20th Century Masters hits.

It may be one of those songs that I have heard but would have to hear it again to remember it. That's why I'm going to check out a greatest hits collection.

I'm not surprised. That sorry ass record store up the street from my house never reorders anything. It's like when it runs out...it just runs out. They didn't even have Van Halen's "1984" album in stock and you know how popular that one was. I had to drive across town to get it.

I was just about to say I love Andy Gibb. there was a time about 5 years ago where he was all I was listening to. I don't think i could do it now though as some of his songs are so sad. He was the man though. The white Barry White! biggrin

First of all who didn't do coke in the late 70's? It's a very short list. WHy say the dude was lame, do you think that's a way to avoid crticism for liking one of his songs. I guess everyone ain't a bout it muthafucka like me, I'd fucking low ride down the street bassing Wham! Rap and wont give a fuck because I like the song. Well, if I had a radio in my car, or had a car period. . That's beside the point, people shouldn't give a fuck about others opinions on shit like this. I for one love Andy Gibbs voice, not better than George Michael's, but still good, any bitches gotta problem with that. I
