Sheryl Crow's Wildflower...to buy or not to buy

Anyone have it yet? Is it worth copping?

Here's how I rank her releases:

1. Sheryl Crow
2. Globe Sessions
3. Tuesday Nite Music Club

4. C'mon C'mon

I was really disappointed with C'mon C'mon. The standout songs were excellent and among her best (Soak Up The Sun, Steve McQueen, Lucky Kid, Diamond Road) but most of it was crappy filler, droopy ballads, and boring guest stars. If the new CD is a lot of lackluster ballads I don't wanna spend the 12 bucks.

Someone tell me please if it's any good...thanks much. razz
I'll leave it alone babe...just be me

My rankings are the same. I keep picking up the album and putting it down again before I get the the checkout at the supermarket every morning.

I have to admit...I like the old Crow lol

Too bad I wasted time ignoring her over stupid comments she made about MJ back in the days. She was putting out some pretty cool tunes. Now I have to play catch up.
Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

i think everything she does sounds the same, but then again i'm (obviously) not a fan.

still and all, i went to the wrecka stow on my lunch break, and her album was the most interesting thing in the new releases this week.

The Globe Sessions is a great album. I listened to WildFlower a couple times, but nothing really stuck out for me.

"My Favorite Mistake" ends up somewhere on my top 40 list of the 90s.

Sheryl's a good musician. I'm open to whatever she does. She's pretty good live, too.

she strikes me as a "singles" artist versus strong albums...this is the first album i bought because mike elizando and abe laborial are all over it..

wendy was supposed to be all over it too but she isnt.... lol

I love the way Sheryl's look has developed; she's sexy now. However, I still think Tuesday Night Music Club is her best work. "All I Wanna Do" is IMO still her best single.
