Did any of you orgers ever have City Life by the Boogie Boys?

I just got this cd and it rocks. It's old skool hip hop/electro. Very funky! I love a fly girl!

nod with You Ain't Fresh and Fly Girl. Fly Girls groove is from Sly Fox
Lets Go All The Way. Which was a Gary"Mudbone"Cooper thang, who is a Funkateer.

...A fly girl is a girl who wants you to see, her name her game and her ability
2 gold teeth and cold cash money...

To be honest I didn't find it on cd. I bought it from music stack and payed a lot of money to have the album and they burned a copy of it for me as well. So I have the album and the CDR. It's a funky album!

More pop than funk ,cooper and spradley have connections with the funk mob.

It's not a P-Funk thang! i would not spend over two bucks for a copy of this lp used.

I always thought it was the other way around and Sly Fox sampled The Boogie Boys for their hit "Let's Go All The Way".

They were both released in 85, but it's Sly Fox song.
[Edited 9/8/05 10:36am]

I like the drums on both, but I think the programming is more elaborate on "A Fly Girl" which, as a single before the album, may have actually preceded "Let's Go All The Way"...

Who programmed this! headache

True the programming is more elaborate on "A Fly Girl" with the breaks and all. "Mudbone" probably on "Lets Go All The Way". They're pretty basic drum tracks compared to those on "Fly Girl".

I don't think that's on the same album I have. Did they have more than one album? Can someone post of pic of these guys. I've never seen what they look like.
