I suppose part of the sex thing is also the fact that she slammed Madonna for doing it in '92. And when Madonna did it she was in your face and would talk about what she was doing. Janet just acts like she doesn't know what the fuss is about when someone wants to bring it up and then giggles and shys away from it like she knows it's "naughty" but is enjoying the attention. It's been a good 12 years now so I think it's time to move on from being sexually liberated. We know you love sex, now masturbate strictly outside of the recording studio please.

Yeah, she needs to drop the shy act. I hate to see her do interviews, dropping her head and looking undereyed and clueless, giggling and shit. Janet you're almost 40, you know you like sex. And you are well aware of the effect of your sexualy charged lyrics...hell, you plan it that way. Just own up to it and move on to some fresh material.
Damn this kooky love affair....

Ugh, the worst is when she's on David Letterman. Cringe-worthy.

Oh, I didn't realise that. 'Don't Stand Another Chance' and 'Say You Do' were brilliant.

"Don't Stand Another Chance" is my favorite of anything she has ever done. It's definately one of her funkiest jams ever.

I was through with Janet Jackson beginning with the "Janet" album she put out after "Rhythm Nation" because of the hip hop vibe on that album. She definately needs to get back to the hard hitting funk.

She also pissed me off when she did her greatest hits album spanning from 1986-1996. There were some great songs on her first two albums that were moderate hits on the R&B charts but it's like she refused to acknowledge her first two albums because they didn't cross over.

Wasn't Young Love & Dream Street top 20 hits on Black Radio back in the early 80's? I really liked those 2 songs and you damn right that they should have been on Design Of A Decade album!

For some reason, I don't hear people giving Janet any credit for her success. Why is that?

...because of THIS (NSFW)?!?:

I think so. If they weren't, they should have been because songs like "Say You Do" were extremely popular. I do believe some songs from the albums made it to the top 20 though.
