How did this thread devolve from being about Beyonce's wigs to a roundtable discussion about white women with ass? I could get into a discussion about who has the best ass with anyone, but it only makes it my preference.

I was having a conversation with one my best, closest feamle friends the other day, and I was just telling her that for genetic, hereditary, nutritional, and environmental reasons, people end up having different body types, and in addition, each person has a particular preference of what we find to be ideally attractive in the opposite sex (or same sex if gay) hard-wired into our brains, and we seek out our preference subconsciously. What one group of people may find attractive in one race or geographic region may not necessarily be the same preference in another region or group of people. Not to mention, cultural aspects may determine a lot of this preference, and that preference may also change over time.

Part of the genetic hard-wiring has to do with evolutionary aspects. For instance, in southern and eastern European cultures, a woman with a voluptuous figure (large breasts and hips/ass) was considered to be quite healthy and was idealized greatly by people living in those regions. However, in northern Europe (England, Ireland, Germany, Scandinavia), a woman with a thinner figure but larger breasts was considered to be healthier and more desirable. Likewise, in Africa and Latin America, breast size was not as important, but large hips and ass meant that a woman would more likely be able to give birth to healthy children.

Anyway, the main problem I see with body image, especially in the USA, has to do with what the culture leaders see as the idealized body type. Right now, the body type most idealized by Hollywood and by the fashion industry is the Nordic type (thin body, blonde, long straight hair, big breasts). The fashion and entertainment industries keep pushing this ideal type in movies, TV, print and any other place they can broadcast, and billions of dollars have been spent by women in hair coloring, gym memberships, clothes, and breast augmentations to live up to this ideal. Fortunately, with the rise of hip hop culture and the influx of immigrants from Latin America, this ideal has changed somewhat. With both of these aspects came things like thong underwear, "daisy dukes", and other inventions which spotlight and complement the posterior.

Right now, if you asked most heterosexual males in this country what type of woman they consider to be beautiful, most of them would probably say that the blonde-haired, blue-eyed Nordic body type would appeal to them most. But if there were a sudden change in culture which preferred nappy-headed dark-skinned, females, the beauty and fashion industry would be furiously trying to create stuff that would make more women nappy-headed.

I think if one takes into account migration and evolution and all that jazz, you will find more white sistas with booty than you think, but it kinda depends where they from. But then say, standing next to my Somalian and Ethiopian friends, I do not have the facial features that they possess; very thin noses, swan like necks, almond shape head, etc, etc...oh, and by the way, I'm not nearly as THIN as they tend to be...so all in all you can generalize how women look to a certain extent, but it can also vary alot depending on what country you're in.

Hey Iadmire beyonce because she is a proud thick girl.No she should not have liposuction or any other surgery as hundreds of women and men are doing today. I admire her for being courageous and letting the world know that she is okay with her God giving size and shape


As far as her weave, some of her wigs do her justice some of them don't. But now adays mostly every singer/entertainer is wearing weaves or wigs. What I don't understand is when a black woman such as Beyonce wears a weave it is a problem to many people but when people like Jessica simpson, Britney, JLo,Christina, Paris, Carmen,Nicole, Pamela Anderson and many others wear wigs or weaves ALL OF THE Time nobody says anything negative or has a problem with it. Hmmm I find that to be very very interesting.
