I was going to run a thread on here about Station To Station, but u beat me to it. Dig, the first 2 minutes of the song "Station To Station" is one of my favorite pieces of music by anyone! That shit is killin'! I play that and "Stay" in my car all the time. Ever wondered if Chic was influenced by Bowie? Take a listen to the last couple of minutes of "Stay".

Also Wild is the wind is one of his best "crooner" moments!

Bowie is a genius!

A monster of an album, even if it is only 6 tracks. All of 'em are perfect 10's. There's a reason they were all featured on singles.

I bought this a month ago off of the recommendation of a few people on this site. Let's just say, it was the best purchase in a long time!

Station to Station is a gem and probably the 2nd best album of Bowie's 70's run (Next to Ziggy Stardust). biggrin

I wonder if it's really true that Bowie cannot remember anything from the sessions, due to drugs, or if it's a little myth-making on his part.
Anyway, this propably is my favorite album of his. Not a note I would change. Great to see him play lots of the songs recently!

My guess is probably a bit of both.
