Let's just rule out any Madonna, Janet Jackson, Michael Jackson songs, just because their presence in this forum is pretty much a given. But there seem to be a lot of songs that oddly come up an awful lot in music: non-prince. I'm not saying the songs themselves are good or bad, just that they warrant an unusual amount of attention. A few I've noticed:
