By the way, what happened to these guys? I love the CD called Smoove. It had hip uptempo tracks along with classic FF Ballads. I just cannot resist saying: "Full Force Get Busy One Time" Irv

I was just watching the only full force video I own. Called "quickie" from "dont sleep". That song rocks. Newjack slammer sounding like Tlc's "aint to proud to beg" and ABC's "iesha" combined. That album ain't their best though. Not enough uptempos.

I think they only have a GH Comp at my local store so I may just end up getting that. It's called all Cried Out. Do you know if it's any good?

I have their first four albums and some Cult Jam 12"s.
Full Force Get Busy one time is cool. I was so into Full Force back in the days. " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

is their classic!!! Yeah its wicked. All there albums are (to me). But "smoove" is just a lil' better, thanx to it being more swingy. "dont waste my time" is one of my all time fav tracks. They sample feminist leaning songs on the breakdown, and that cracks me up:- "what have u done for me lately" sample is played. Answer:- "well baby what have u done for me lately, except spend all my money" Tell 'em where u live Full force. Oh yeah, they worked with the backstreet boys. Last I heard of them. They made the house pary movies aswell. I wanted to see them in a sitcom so badly as a kid.

Oh yeah laugh all u want but they did good on latoya Jacksons "your gonna get rocked" album. Dropped in 1988, they write about 5 songs for her. First 3 are funk'd up. "your gonna get rock" even had a video, and its pretty good if u ever see it. Anyone remember "try me" by jasmine guy? Awesome song. Full force produced that one. "full force, step to 'em"

Yeah I know what you mean. I ended up buying a compilation today as i couldn't find anything else. It's pretty good but I wish there were fewer slow jams on it.

I started off with "Get Busy One Time" which is a 7 "Guess Who's Comin To The Crib" IS THEIR BEST in my opinion. Most of the cuts are funky and uptempo. The slow jams are awesome too. They recieved some success with "All In My Mind" from this album...but there are some prime cuts on it: Your Love Is So Def Black Radio Katty Women 3:00 Schools Out I would really recommend getting this one. Never saw their albums on CD, but I have it converted to CD from my Vinyl, how U gotta do it these days. Straight Jacket Funk Affair

Full Force's third album did only marginally better than the first two; it peaked a little higher on the low end of the pop albums chart. They tried everything in their creative arsenal, from the bittersweet sentiments of "Love Is For Suckers (Like Me And You)" to the naughty double-entendre notions expressed on "Low Blow Brenda" and even a traditional soul number, "Take Care Of Homework." Nothing clicked, and it probably didn't help matters that the album included the justifiable but shrill diatribe "Black Radio." (4 1/2 Stars of 5) Straight Jacket Funk Affair

Not sure if it's available on CD,but this is the best Full Force album imo.Released in the fall of 1987,it contains the singles "Love Is For Suckas" and the slow jam "All In My Mind".There are many highlights here.Songs like "Low Blow Brenda" and "Katty Women" are kickass funk jams, while the light, breezy "Your Love Is So Def" is a nice midtempo jam.The opening number "Take Care Of Homework" is a relentless funk workout with ferocious bass and a cameo from Lisa Lisa.As I have said many times, this is the album that should have made them superstars. It's an underrated late 80s masterpiece.
