The Jackson 5 / The Jacksons (170,000,000)

The Jackson 5 / The Jacksons

are the greatest selling African American group of All-Time with 100,000,000 sold. The closest to them is Boyz 2 Men with 55,000,000.

It seems to have been a change made on the website. The Jackson 5 have sold 100,000,000 copies while the Jacksons have sold 70,000,000. The total is 170,000,000.

Ad that to Mikes 210,000,000 and Janets 100,000,000 plus Jermaine has sold at least 10,000,000 and Jackie, Randy, La Toya, Rebbie, Marlon, 3T and Tito have sold at least 6,000,000 al together that is a lot od stuff.

The Jackson 5 were one of the biggest groups of all-time. They had a bullet proof formula: Great songs, great production, great image, great performers and great timimg.

I've actually been sad enough to do a fully ranked list of my favourite Michael Jackson songs, all including Jacksons and Jackson 5, because people usually separate them. Still in the process of writing up reviews for the Top 100. There are a few missing such as some of the stuff from the Soulsation box set, but here's the list:

BTW, with sales and stuff people always get mixed up and do eroneous charts. They constantly mix up people's worldwide album totals, overall record totals (including singles) or even start quoting JUST domestic totals. Like Janet, she'd get to 100m if you include singles.

And with older artists it's hard to tell because of pre-Soundscan. Elvis' totals always get exaggerated and inflated, while most Motown artists are completely omitted from the all-time lists. I saw a list of like the Top 200 album sellers in the USA last week and Diana Ross was nowhere to be seen, and Usher had outsold Stevie Wonder dead

It seems to have been a change made on the website. The Jackson 5 have sold 100,000,000 copies while the Jacksons have sold 70,000,000. The total is 170,000,000.

Which website? Where are you getting these numbers from?
