who else listens too...

Judas Fucking Priest. So what if Rob Halford was gay, he could sing like a mofo, was an excllent songwriter, their music was awesome. If you never listened to the try it you will probably like it.

Judas Priest was one of those groups that I was introduced to through my big brother. He was listening to them while I was fixated on Thriller. I used to steal my brothers records and would listen to Stained Class, British Steel, Defenders of the Faith and especially Screaming for Vengeance. They lost some interest for me around the time of Turbo, but I still like a lot of their older catalogue to this day.

And as far as Rob Halford's sexuality is concerned, his coming out came as a shock to absolutely nobody that was paying attention to their music. I remember my brother telling me Halford was gay when I was 9-years-old, and that was in 1982. Nobody cared then, and nobody cares now. It's a rare occurrence, but for once it was all about their music and not his sexuality.

Never been a fan but my band cover Breaking The Law and it is always a full-on rocking song to play.

I bet Halford coming out has done more to cut back homophobia in the rock music community than anything else for years. Fair play to him, he hasn't used it as a soapbox like some artists do, or as a means to further his career (step up to the plate Mr George Michael) but has stated it as a fact and moved on - Which is exactly the example younger rock fans should get - Not "WOAH this is a big deal let's stir up a storm", more "This is everyday life, what's the big fuss?"
