Fine. I got my stinkin' Lollapalooza ticket.

After service charges and whatnot, one damn ticket cost $101.00...I'm kicking myself for sleeping on the $35 presales. sigh

So far I'm hearing Beck, The Pixies, Liz Phair and Weezer are scheduled to play, along with Kings of Leon and a few other poppy-emo-alternamall kinda bands. I'd slap down a hunnerd bucks to see Beck and The Pixies, what the hell.

There's supposed to be a press conference this morning giving the full rundown for the show....I'll post the list when I see it. nod

weezer announced it on their web site, and i've been hearing beck's name connected to this year's lollapalooza from the get-go. liz phair lives in chicago, so it wouldn't be a terrible shock if she played (or billy corgan, for that matter - he has something new coming out soon...how about wilco?). haven't seen any confirmation about the pixies, but it wouldn't be a shocker, either. they played three sold out nights here in chicago last winter...or was it five sold out nights? i forget. anyway. it was a big to-do.

i'm not sure if i have a wish list...it just gives me something cool to look forward to this summer. nod

What kinda seats did you get, lawn or pavillion? You going with anybody? I'm actually thinking of making the trip. Too many artists I dig in one place to miss it.

i think it may be general admission. the way it seems to be working is that as tickets start to sell out, the prices go up on remaining tix. weird.
