Ms. Legs Cameo w/a passion. They are one of the most tight Funk & Ballad Bands around. Some of my favorite cuts are: Alligator Women, She Strange, A Goodbye, Sparkle, Freaky Dancin, Shake Your Pants, Candy, Single Life, Word Up, Be Yourself, Don't Be Lonely, and I Just Want To Be What You Want Me To Be.
For an true funkateer, I recommend that you see these guys in concert. I here they are still funkin and throughing down. You won't be disappointed. The funk will set you free.

Yeah, I ran a thread on "Why Have I Lost You" discussing both versions. Been into Cameo all my life. Please, don't get me started about Cameo. Another great funk band that made the transition smoothly from the 70's into the 80's. Something that P-Funk didn't do nearly as well. SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."

Cameo is definately one of my favorite groups. My favorite era was in the early 1980s when there were about 10 or 12 of them in the group. Their late 1980s stuff was fine but not near as strong as their early 1980s stuff though.
They had hardcore funk like "Be Yourself", "Shake Your Pants", "I Just Want To Be", "Freaky Dancing", "Flirt", etc. They also have some of the baddest ballads of all time like "Sparkle", "Why Have I Lost You", and "We're Going Out Tonight". I love a group that can do hardcore funk and then turn around and do some of the most steamy, sensual "midnight" type ballads....."Feel Me" is one of my favorites. Andy is a four letter word.
