Best Beatles Sound a like songs

The Beatles have been imitated and used as influences by many for years....So which songs have you heard that best reflects the Beatles sound or style? For me all the Oasis stuff aside I think Tears for Fears "Sowing the Seeds of Love" is the best I have heard. I love that song....
clever clever quotation - attention getting quote - sad yet witty remark - look at me! Im deep quote- song lyric about my ex cause that bitch stole my mp3 player! - line from movie I liked - Prince lyric - not very clever sig mocking other sigs

Yep, Sowing the seeds is obvious, but what about their new one... Closest thing to heaven?

Or what about ELO..... They sound Beatle-ish too...

From the early days, you might want to put...

...Badfinger in the mix.

No Matter What
Day After Day
Baby Blue
Come and Get It

Jet's "Look What You've Done"
Kevin Max's "Her Game"

You could also say that the majority of mini rock-opera songs ("Bohemian Rhapsody", "3 Chains O' Gold") are based on "A Day In The Life".

People actually thought it WAS The Beatles just using a fake name. Badfinger has to be the most "tragic" band that ever existed.

For me, it has to be ELO. They were basically the 70's version of The Beatles.

And didn't the Beatles produce them? They were one of the first bands signed to Apple, right?

Uruguay's answere to the Beatles. They truly remind you of the Beatles.Their individual albums are hard to get so your best bet is this domestic compilation.

Beat me to it - probably the best pastiche of late-period Beatles ever done, IMO.

headache

of montreal...in fact a lot of ol' elephant6 artists...are often compared musically to the beatle's style.

they are a fun band regardless of whether you can see the connections or not...
