Mariah is singing again

Well, I don't know how these things leak the net, but I got it.

Did anybody post this before, Sorry if someone did.

MIMI is all here and it's really good.
Only 4 tracks with very short rap. The rest only HER and SINGING.
The whisper thing was left back in some tracks as background vocals like "Shake it off". (the singing here is like song is a mixture of The One and some other of her songs)

She's not doing all the bac vocals anyways.

"I wish you knew" for example, has some girls backing but not her (the backs are ala "You don't know my name by Alicia Keys). it's a beautiful ballad and there's audience background), similar to Stay the night"

I cannot give you a review since I'm just listening to it for the first time, but those who were expecting Charmbracelet part 2, will be disappointed. lol

This album is different!
biggrin

1.- It's like that
2.- We belong together
3.- Shake it off
4.- Mine again
5.- Say somethin' (feat. Snoop Dogg)
6.- Stay the night
7.- Get your number (feat. Jermaine Dupri)
8.- One and only (feat. Twista)
9.- Circles
10.- Your girl
11.- I wish you knew
12.- To the floor (feat. Nelly)
13.- Joy ride
14.- Fly like a bird
"America is a continent..."

What I've heard of the album, I really like. But I still think there's too much of that tired whispery vocal. It's lazy.

From what I've read, it's what Charmbracelet should have been.

If memory servies, Mariah covers a song originally done by a male artist on each of her albums. What song (and what artist) gets a make-over this time 'round?

Are there any freaky songs on this one??? Mariah has done any freaky songs before, but since this is the "Emancipation of Mimi", maybe she's feels free to do what ever she wants this time.

Freaky like "Bliss" or freaky like singing about rainbows and lollipops?
The album has no cover/remakes

Glitter is def one of her best moments. It's was funky and iratic. The best track has to be the track RICK JAMES wrote "ALL MY LIFE"!
The new labum sounds like a mix of Glitter and Butterfly.

She was lip syncing for awhile, she was on some drug that made her lose her voice (so I hear).

I guess they want her crazy with a voice, then mellow & lip syncing lol
