Many men are too insecure with their own masculinity to be friends with a gay male. Even when they are, they are always stressing to people "we are just friends" because they are so afraid that someone will think that they are gay. Then there are those that have the "lesbian" excuse. They are very bold and don't care if people see them in the club because they are supposedly there to "pick up two lesbians for a threesome". Yes, there are some weak lesbians, with no self respect and pride, that are confused that can be talked into it, but most of the time, these men don't get lucky in this department. When they don't get lucky, there's always the gay man for a last resort.
