Who remembers this song called "here comes the sun" by a RB group back in the 80;s. It was a minor hit but was a big roller skating favorite. Came out around the same time as "Ain't no stopping us now".
And for that matter, what was the name of the duo that sang that song?

Thanks

'Ain't No Stopping Us Now' was McFadden and Whitehead.

Thank you! And I think the group I am thinking of was called Sun. Didn't they have a minor hit in the early 80's? or very late 70's?

With all of the meterological-themed songs that have been released, I'm surprised that The Weather Channel, Tom Skilling of WGN-TV or Jillian Barberie of Good Day LA haven't released a box set of these songs. They could call it "Meterological Music For the Masses" or something like that. They could have Volume One: The Best of Sunshine, Volume Two, The Best of Rain, Volume Three: Killer Storms, etc.

How naive do you think I am? Most of these songs aren't about weather. The topic is weather-related song titles. I don't think It's Raining Mean is actually about a torrent of men falling from thunderheads either. lol
