Who is your favorite male rock singer?

Layne Staley (AIC)

So gritty and soulful all at the same time. I wonder what he would have been doing musically if he was still alive. Such a sad loss. pray

Mama mia, I likee. We have the Led Zeppelin DVD set. Yes, Robert Plant was a rock god back in the day. He performed on Austin City Limits a couple of years ago, and of course he is older, but he still has that voice.

Robert would have to be one probably my all-time favorite rock singer and easy on the eyes, too.

Yes he is. drool And don't get me started on the DVD. lol (waiting for tA to intervene here biggrin ) I'm more of a Jimmy fan when it comes to the looks department, but damn there's nothing wrong with Robert of course. nod

I got the "No Quarter" Page and Plant DVD that was performed in '95 (I just got it recently) and I was really impressed. More so than I thought I would be. His voice sounded better than I expected and Jimmy's playing was great.

probably bowie. so much attention gets paid to his diversity, songwriting, etc... that people often forget what an INCREDIBLE vocalist he is.

My pain is self-chosen
At least I believe it to be
I could either drown
Or pull off my skin and swim to shore
Now I can grow a beautiful
Shell for all to see
The river of deceit pulls down
The only direction we flow is down
Down, oh down

I hope the pain is over man.
