The Beatles' Copyrights Can anybody tell me what's up with this??
As far as I know sometime in the past MJ bought them, so he would receive all the money for the sales... Were the rights returned to the writers yet??? Peace and Thanx "America is a continent..." |

http://www.snopes.com/mus...ackson.htm This is quite separate from copyrights to the Beatles songs, or to the Beatles' recordings of the songs - which vest with the creators and usually continue for a period of time (say 70 years) after the death of the composer, or after a period of time (say 50 years) after the first release of the recording to the general public respectively. . moderatorI saw Paul talking about it on the VH1 show about Michael last night. He didn't seem upset, but I've read or heard a while ago that Paul was VERY angry at Michael for buying the rights. I think Michael outbid him or something like that? | |
