i like moloko okay - 'fun for me' is still a mix comp favorite of mine if i know the recipient hasn't heard of 'em - but they've never grabbed me quite the way that goldfrapp (and portishead for that matter) has.

Which is kinda rare for me, since it takes at least two listens to see. "Sing it Back" was the only song I didn't really care for from that album, and ironically it was one of the random songs that I downloaded a while back to see if I would like them. It looks like I did pick the worst tracks "Pleasure Seeker" and "Indigo" and my favorites. "If You Have a Cross..." is kinda weird in a good way, and the title is extremely long. I don't know where this album stands with die-hard Moloko fans, but I love it. So does this mean you'll be getting that DVD?!? Yeah, I love Things to Make and Do! Absent Minded Friends breaks my heart everytime I hear it. Yes Pure Pleaure Seeker it the shizzle! It seems like Prince wrote that track especially for them. The version of Sing it Back on TTMAD is weak compared to the version on I AM not a Doctor Though, I would say IANAD is their weakest release, there's still a couple of gems on that album. But, my favorite release by Moloko has to be Statues There's not one weak track on that album, solid all the way through! FYI Roison is collaborating with Herbert on an album, I have a feeling it'll be mindblowing. Though, I'm trying not to hype myself up too much, cause you never know. But, those 2 working together, brillant can be the only result.

I don't even have Goldfrapp's dvd yet I love "Absent Minded Friends" too.... alot of the songs on that album are so "in your face" that it almost sounds live. looking for you in the woods tonight Switch FC SW-2874-2863-4789 (Rum&Coke)

I just watched Goldfrapp's video for "Twist" again and it just reminds me how beautiful pretty much all their promo clips are. They need to release them all on one DVD. I can only be satisfied for so long just watching them on the CD singles.

Yeah, that was the only thing that let their DVD set down - they really should've included the videos for each album on each respective disc, that would've been great. Shame that soundtrack they scored recently won't be released commercially - Im SO ready for some new 'frappage!

They really did "Physical" justice....a lot better than the original. The chorus of "Physical" just irks me though, regardless of who covers it. looking for you in the woods tonight Switch FC SW-2874-2863-4789 (Rum&Coke)

LOVED their Germanic interpretation of Bacarra's 'Yes Sir (I Can Boogie)' - that's class too! WHAT a band.

I somewhat like ONJ so "Physical" never really bothered me to begin with, but Alison's vocals are way more sensual. The whole downtempo arrangement also inspires a BDSM scenario to me for some reason.

"Slippage" and "Train" have been on repeat for the past two days. "Slippage" is too short though. looking for you in the woods tonight Switch FC SW-2874-2863-4789 (Rum&Coke)
