those are not necessarily my fave tracks, but as you said a song I would pick for someone else to check out the artist (in some cases the songs that made ME get into the artist in the first place) btw, this list is of course open to frequent changes. and it's not quite 25 artists, but it's as short as I could get it... and... who's counting anyway smile so in no particular order:

I almost chose Jack Off Jill's cover of "Love Song", but didn't want to demean the band by saying my favorite song by them isn't really theirs.

Have you heard Deadsy? If you like both Manson and Gary Numan then you should give them a listen since they sound to me like a cross between those two.
