The only 2 songs that I could tolerate by them were: 2 Become 1 and Goodbye.

I always thought 'Say You'll Be There' was passable; was that a harmonica solo in it?

Oboy, this is another thread where I'm gonna have to go back and relisten to everything and get the titles straight before posting. Off the top of my head, I would think both Jam & Lewis tracks will make my top 10. "Stop" and "Goodbye" might be #s 1 and 2.

Be back tomorrow with a complete ten.

They worked with Darkchild Rodney jerkoff didn't they? Rodney must be proud. "holla" was shit.....

errmm I got good memories of spice girls. Shocked they broke america and the world. I thought only england would "get it".

I feel maybe in a decade or so they might be kinda like abba. soem people will think "these r well crafted, catchy, cheesy as hell pop songs".....

Take that were better (uk only sad )

"set ur spirit free, it's the only way to be".....quite deep if u tell someone normally, then u tell them it's a damn spice girl lyric and u laugh at them!

My Spice party was Wednesday (thanks to this thread!)

Whenever I make a top ten list on the org, I get into the artist's music heavily that day.

I bought Mel B's Hot in 2000 based on the strength of her first single "I Want You Back" (feat. Missy Elliott). There's a great baby-making jam produced by Jam & Lewis on there called "Feel Me Now." Her album and Mel C's "Northern Star" are the best Spice solo works, IMO.

I have Mel B's album too. A friend of mine originally made a tape of it for me and I honestly wasn't that impressed. I met Mel B one day and told her I was a big fan and how I loved her album. I felt guilty afterward and bought the CD for real.

I truly am a fan of Geri Halliwell though. I have all her albums/remixes/b-sides.

Don't really care for the other three.

Wow. That's funny.

I pretty much was a spice girls fan when the album "Spice" was huge. That's a very fun debut. When "Spice World" came out, I thought the album largely sucked and I fell out of being a fan. I used to like Mel B the most because she seemed cool. I bought "Hot" based on "I Want You Back," but it did have a lot of saccharin/MOR s**t. What can you expect from a Spice Girl album. But, yeah, LOL.

I thought the four singles on the album were good. A lot of the other tracks were really bad. I don't remember the Jam & Lewis ballad you mentioned. I might have to pull the CD out again this weekend.

I met Mel B again last year (no, I'm not a stalker) after one of her 'Rent' performances and reminded her about our previous meeting at Nell's (that was the name of the club). Of course she gave me a puzzled look and didn't remember, but she did take a picture with me. I'm sure I told this story on the org already--my big brush with fame, lol.
