This is the one with the Funky Drummer break right? 'dre Tried many flavours - but sooner or later, always go back to the Purple Kool-aid!

Oh man that takes me back, that was like 1990 when in the UK especially, a track wasn't a track without the aforementioned break! This was an interesting take on the track (I liked it though!) and I'm sure if played in the clubs now could still turn heads! Whatever happened 2 them and their lead singer? This came out in the UK just after Candy Flips ersion of "Strawberry Fields Forever" which crossed "Funky Drummer" with what I can only describe as Green Gartside-esque (Scritti Politti) vocals! Tried many flavours - but sooner or later, always go back to the Purple Kool-aid!

That reminds me of Sinead O'Connor "I Am Stretched On Your Grave". This was an interesting take on the track (I liked it though!) and I'm sure if played in the clubs now could still turn heads!
