Motley Crue Update!

So apparently Mick Mars is not well enough to serve on guitar duties, so Dave Navarro is stepping in. Is that good news? I was looking forward to seeing Mick though Dave Navarro is cool too. Oh well, take what you can get I suppose. Can't wait to see them in march!

i know, seems a bit shady. mick is in all of the promo pics. to tell you the truth i don't know if this tour will last more than one month. vince and tommy hate each other so i don't know how they'll be able to pull this off. stayed tuned....

Well it's not official yet!

Navarro For Mötley Crüe?

04 Jan 2005 Internet rumours have stated that ex-Jane's Addiction / current Panic Channel guitarist Dave Navarro will be joining reformed glam Hellraisers Mötley Crüe due to Crüe guitarist Mick Mars' ongoing health issues.

Mars told US magazine Metal Edge recently "It's really rough for me being out on the road, it's rough keeping up with the schedule. It's rough enough for a healthy guy, but I weigh 112 pounds and I'm not fully recovered yet, and I've done all this stuff already that 's really wearing me down faster than I can heal."

Navarro however has said in an official statement that he has "not been approached by anyone associated with Mötley Crüe. I do plan on going to see them though. I pray for Mick's swift recovery if he is, in fact, dealing with health issues."

Wasn't Tommy Donkey Ding-Dong banging Carmen Electra at one point?

Anxiety

i really wish mostley crude would just let the past go. i know the fans want to see a reunion tour, but mick mars is at death's door, vince and tommy despise each other, and tommy's been talking to the media about how he's gonna phone everything in on this tour and how the new album's crap.

i think a really good documentary or a really fun bio-pic of their autobiography would be sufficient, with maybe - MAYBE - a one-off concert to put a lid on everything.

but i guess it's more rock'n'roll to flog the dead horse. lol
