New Sananda Maitreya-Angels & Vampires Chap 3

Hi everyone. In case you are interested, Sananda Maitreya just released Chapter 3 of his Angels and Vampires project. You can download it, listen to it for free up to 3 times and then purchase it.

Just go to his website: www.sanandamaitreya.com

and click on the icon that says "Angels and Vampires."

If you have no idea who Sananda Maitreya is, go to his website. You may discover that you actually DO know who he is.

Anyways, the music is killer. Don't sleep on it.

Oh, well if VH1 says it then it's gotta be true, after all, these are the same geniuses that brought us musical prodigys such as Ashlee Simpson, Chingy, Nelly, Britney Spears, and (insert name of another talentless phony here).

I completely agree. Every time a new chapter comes out, I burn all the songs from the entire project together on a cd so it's kinda like having an album already...although of course it's not finished yet.

I'm just listening at the first track of A&V part 3, it's great so far and kind of reminds me of some B-sides from Introducing (Sananda playing the piano pure instrumental, it's obvious he's also influenced by Bach, Mozart etc.)

P.S.Emilio, why didn't you also put the link to this post at
http://www.sanandamaitrey....php?t=210 ?

Yeah, it's me good old Johnny boy. lol lol lol

Spread the word Sananda (TTD) is back with some great music. Angels and Vampires part 3 includes another 4 songs and they are great.

Hey, Johnny Boy!!!! What's up my friend? biggrin I just posted a message for you at the Sananda forum a little while ago. Now I know your "name" on this forum so I'll be on the lookout for your posts. The new chapter is great! You are right, I do hear the classical influences on "Requiem (for our war dead)" and I think it's very cool that Sananda had the balls to come out with something like that which I'm sure most of us did not expect.

I read it and of course there's an answer waiting for you to be read. lol
I totally agree with you, we seem to be at the same brainwave lately. lol lol
When you want to read the posts and join the action I'd say go to the actions post at Sananda's site. The topic at the top contents links to posts I did concerning Sananda. It would be great when you'd join the discussions. wink

Glad he's finally decided to drop "Terence Trent D'Arby" entirely. He changed his name a long while ago, so it makes total sense. Most of his fans know he's Sananda anyway.

I agree. I think most people who really love and respect his music have already accepted the name change. It's really not a big deal. Whenever I speak to people about his music, I always refer to him as Sananda Maitreya, to the point that it honestly feels weird to say Terence Trent D'arby. It's kinda like Muhammad Ali...you don't hear anyone refer to him as Cassius Clay. And of course there are so many people in show business that have changed their name and people don't realize it. Sananda changed his name for spiritual reasons. If you are unfamiliar with the guy, it may sound like it's some sort of publicity stunt, but anyone who seriously follows his work can see that it's no stunt, it's the real deal, and you gotta respect that.

Prince changed his name more often than anyone else did. At a certain period of time he even used several names, except Prince. He participated on various albums with different names, on Exodus (1995) by the NPG for example.

It's not known yet when the album is gonna be released on CD, he's only recorded 10 songs so far. Hope he'll finish up recording soon, cause I also want to have the real thing.

It's eventually gonna be released on cd but I think that's still about a year away because he is still recording new songs to be released online in the coming months. What's wrong with the way he's releasing it now? I've burned all the songs to a cd and the music sounds fantastic, the same quality as buying something in a store. I love the way that Sananda is releasing the songs...I prefer it this way as opposed to having to wait 2 or 3 years between albums to get new music. This way, the songs are released pretty much right after they were recorded...so they are basically fresh outta the oven.

It is a cool idea and I d/l the tracks from wildcard before buying the cd.The d/l files cannot compare in any way to the crispness of the cd sound. It sounded muted in comparison. I will only gladly buy his cd's.

I like the way he's giving us a listen to what he's doing. But I agree on wanting to have the real thing. I want to have a CD with booklet, burning music on a CD isn't the same for me. Still I love to be able to listen to his songs already, for the album isn't finished yet.
