Scissor Sisters- anyone?? My hip friend just burned this for me and I can't stop listening to it - infectious!!!
It's like the good parts of an old Elton John song mixed with Beck's Midnite Vultures and a whole buncha cool-ass other shit. This is a fantastic album - the most fun I've had listening to a CD since ... um, Franz Ferdinand!  No confusion, no tears. No enemies, no fear. No sorrow, no pain. No ball, no chain.

Electrobix in particular just makes it ALLLL allright.

Scissor Sisters are very cool indeed, Their debut album really is a work of art, but if you really want to enjoy the Scissor Sister's nastyness check out their first pressing of their debut album, it contains several songs not on the 2004 edition and songs that do appear on both are longer uncensored versions!!!
Gotta love Filthy & Gorgeous and the backwoods Discotheque.... Monkey Baby, Electrobix, Take your mama all are such cool songs... "Time is a train, makes the future the past" | |

their debut album a 'work of art'! pleeease scissors sisters are a great fun band, kinda like The Darkness not in style but in the way they parody past music with a tongue in cheek way. But thats about where it ends, musically they are far too dependant of the sound and style of others to even aspire to producing 'art'. Although these days what some would call art bewilders me 
having said that they are fucking good fun, saw them live in London and they rocked! | |
