Battle of the '90s R&B male groups

The '90s will go down as the decade where handsome groups of R&B crooners, in similar outfits, belted out heartbreaking odes to urban love and topped the charts. Vote on your faves out of the bunch below.

New Edition vs. Toni! Tony! Tone!
Silk vs. Shai
Blackstreet vs. Mint Condition
DRS ("Gangsta Lean") vs. H-Town ("Knockin' Da Boots")
Color Me Badd vs. All-4-One

Boyz II Men vs. Jodeci --Not really fair though, because I'd choose Jodeci over everyone in this competition
Guy vs. After 7
New Edition vs. Toni! Tony! Tone!
Silk vs. Shai
Blackstreet vs. Mint Condition
DRS ("Gangsta Lean") vs. H-Town ("Knockin' Da Boots")

Hi-Five ("The Kissing Game") vs. Soul IV Real ("Candy Rain")
Today vs. Troop ("All I Do Is Think of You")
Immature vs. Subway ("This Lil' Game We Play (feat. 702)") --I respectfully decline
Dru Hill vs. Next --ATL Representin'
112 vs. Playa ("Cheers 2 U") --ATL Again...btw, they're named after my neighborhood
Az Yet vs. Mista ("Blackberry Molasses")
Ol' Skool vs. II D Extreme ("Cry No More") --Hmm...Neither

The difference is "a (usually) gospel-influenced, sexually charged singer reaching young and older R&B/Urban Markets" as opposed to "wholesome fluff targeted at 9-16 year old female pop audiences"

Well Jodeci are probably in someone's alley. As for H-Town, their lead singer (and the only one who could sing), Dino, was killed last year.

There were a lot of disposable R&B male groups back in the day, weren't there? Anyone remember N-Phase? They had one good R-Kelly produced track, "Spend The Night".

Then again, there were a lot of girl groups too: SWV, Total, Lace, Jade, MoKenStef, Kut Klose, etc...

Best boyband song:- "I'm still in love with u"- New edition.....I know it's obvious and the song is maybe corny 2 some, but this song is beutifull to me.....

"Forever my lady" (the song)- by Jodeci is a close second though!

It's sad that I missed that group. I actually have their first album -- and I don't think that R. Kelly's contributions were the strongest things on it!

Ooooh don't get me started....

First of all Mint Condition is a BAND not a group. I luv them!!!

Blackstreet is a GROUP. These terms are not interchangeable.

I'm done being anal now. lol

I love them both but it's hard to compare them to each other seeing how they are BAND vs. GROUP.
