I heard he was on heroin...along with D'Angelo and Roy Hargrove. 
With Roy I can believe it, though. After seeing him perform at this year's Jazz Festival, that brotha was high as a kite...playing 6 songs back to back without stopping. Although he still put it down, you could tell he was on something (hollaring out during each musician's solo, staggering on the stage, dancing with an imaginary partner).  | |

You know, I met this ass-clown in New York in May and he is a total QUEEN! Plus he is an arrogant little fuck who looked as if he was high as a kite! He has the mannerisms of a "sissy-boy" and he was just twitching like a beyotch!

Yeah numerous sources have said D was on heroin and seeing him makes one wonder. Bilal's live performances make you suspect he's on something also. Plus he was at a club at NY on open mic and he sucked. I love Bilal's album First Born Second and I think he is a legitimate talent. I do sincerely hope though that musicians like he and D'Angelo can get/ stay clean because the path of drugs only lead in destruction. | |
