Guess who heard a new Prince song tonight?

It's called "The United States of Division", and it's a little bit on the funky side.

It's pretty cool...it was "premiered" tonight at Berlin nightclub, here in Chicago....and I bumped my butt off to it. Keep yer eyes peeled, hopefully we'll be seeing it available for sale or download or whatnot.

Details damn it. Remember any of the lyrics? Time length? What studio was it recorded in? What was he wearing during the recording of it? And most importantly...are you sure it's a new song or a "vault" release?

i'm fairly certain it's a new new NEW song...it's very "chocolate invasion/slaugherhouse" sounding...up tempo...from what i remember, kinda like "let's work" mixed with the musicology album...very sparse jam with a good beat...don't remember the lyrics at all, too busy shakin' my butt.

First a new song (Black Sweat) on Friday, now another new one at Berlin. Wow...we're lucky here in Chicago.

Yes. It's a good song.

It's basically about vaginas.

Well I was there also! I had a lot of fun and I liked the new song, pretty funky, I was peepin some of the lyrics, you all can tell by the title that it gets political. I noticed that the last song they played that night was Sometimes It Snows In April? The DJ said we just had a death in the family, now we know what happened. My heart goes out to the Blackwell family.
