It's great that Musicology has remained in the top 10 on the R&B album chart, even without the concert sales. Call My Name has made a definite impact. Now when is Columbia gonna get off it's butt and get a pop single going. Come on Cinnamon Girl or A Million Days.

i still wish Columbia would put out a cd single here in the US like a lor of the r&b acts do ..it would make up for the lack of airplay chart wise

I agree with you Mazerati. Columbia needs to release a CD single for the singles. Is there a number or an e-mail address to send to Columbia/Sony? I'll talk to someone in a heartbeat.
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

Pagey

I am hearing Cinnamon Girl on XRT (an alternative rock station) in Chicago more than Call My Name on 107.5 or 102.7 (and I listen to all stations pretty regularly). Are any Chicagoans hearing Call My Name at all? I would think people would be all over that one.

BTW, Cinnamon Girl should DEFINITELY be a single. It sounds great on the radio.

Here's my prediction. Prince released Musicology as the first single because of it's "feel-good" quality, and Call My Name, probably because it's a ballad, so if he really wants to funk us out, he'll release Life O' the Party as the follow-up, just because it's a shaker-song (makes ya wanna shake yer a*s on the floor!)
