I said it the first time I heard it and I still say it now. TRC is the perfect record in my opinion. It is truly magical and very inspirational. |

It's one of my favourites too, the band sounds amazing and the concept of the album is unprecedented for a pop icon (that P is). |

I could listen to it over and over. It's like one of those albums you can just hit replay and ya don't get Bored. It's such a Great Album! For the Life of me I Cannot Understand how the Critics didn't Love this album or see it's Beauty. Prince's Music is Soo Much More than just Dance Tunes. Prince has a Prolific Message. I Totally am like Taken with his Range and the Intensity of his Word! Prince well Everybody Knows he does It to me.. Cause Well, I Get it.. I get his whole vibe..But well I know he would say But Zel..It Ain't all Sex,but wel I would say Honey..With You it's like How could ya Not Feel it? He's Pure Joy.. Oh My God.. Prince just he just is the Best.. Oh Man! | |

I understand its brilliance, but I hate the more mellow jazzy songs on it cause it's not my genre of choice.
Still good, but uneven to me. The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.

I'm a little surprised but very glad to see these Rainbow Children threads. It's underrated but may gain appreciation as people rediscover Prince and seek out what they missed.
Something's been making me reach for it again and again lately as a nice compliment to Musicology. Two very different styles, both excellent. Long live da Rainbow Children! Peace | |
