Purple Rain

Has anybody heard anything about the 20th anniversary of Purple Rain? Will the CD be reissued, will there be a special edition DVD?The soundtrack is superb(9 tracks, all killer no filler). The film was a critical and box office smash, and elevated Prince to pop icon status.
Purple Rain was the "8 Mile" of it's time.I've been a Prince fan for over 20 years and it's so awesome to see him doing his thing in the 21st century.Peace B with you!

Anxiety

All I know it it's supposed to be a two-disc set, members of the Revolution have been interviewed for the special features, and it's supposed to drop in August.

8 Mile didn't have nearly the impact that Purple Rain did. 8 Mile was a good movie, but it was somehere between "Cool as Ice" and "Purple Rain".
"New Power slide...."
