Who's the Expert... Didn't want to waste a thread on just a question but I don't no any of you.So here it is.The scene in Purple Rain when Prince rushes in the house to confront his father and hears the piano.Now I havent seen the movie in years but that piece he was playing was Computer Blue right?That piece of music has always stuck with me.Wondering if Prince had released that rendition or played it live since I've seen him.Its beautiful and I've never been able to get a straight yes or no if its available?Thanxxx

that was a part of CB that Francis L. was playing. I've never known of a released or circulating version of that, but I'm no BorisFishpaw.

Officially known as "Father's Song". Was incorporated into "Computer Blue", especially the full version. I don't know if it was ever recorded separate other than what you hear in the film. |
