I have all Prince's output from 1978-present in a playlist on my computer (minus remixes, associated artists, etc.) that I can play randomly, by year, by album, however I see fit. So when new material comes out, I put that in too. It gives me some mild sense of interest to see where they fit into the familiar old friends.
