Musicology: Single of the week in "Blues & Soul" magazine

PRINCE: Musicology (Sony)
As a die-hard fan (save the self-indulgent Slave days), it's with a mixture of anticipation and apprehension that Prince's first major release in 10 years is slipped onto the stereo. Will it be a case of "Lettigo" or the perfect "Sign O The Times?". Of course, given its SOTF status, the latter is thankfully in the house as the diminutive one sticks a creative finger up to modern music. Spinning on his tiny heel, the Jehovah convert goes back to the soul-soaked '60s and '70s with a truly funkalicious single, stuffed full of dirty bass slaps, sexy drums and shocking keys. Ace video too. (Out: April 12) Verdict: His name is Prince, and, damn, he's funky.

Vanglorious... this is protected by the red, the black, and the green. With a key... sissy!

I haven't seen this post before so you're cool. Great review.
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that
