That was fascinating tv wasn't it? The old Prince would be a disaster on that show but the new more relaxed version will probably go okay. When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading.

Ugh. The Parkinson show is appalling. Parkie is both smug and smarmy at the same time and his interviews are banal. However (and Lord knows why this is the case) his show is deemed to be the premier chat show - he gets the big guests. I think it is because he does not challenge guests and is happy to accept whatever restrictions they want to have placed on topics etc. And I can't imagine Prince sitting next to (and trying to relate to) a C-list actor from East Enders.

maybe this is to help promote a UK tour.
Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

Now that, I would pay good money to see. We'd be placing bets on how many seconds the interview would last before he walked. Parky's a bit dull but he does, occasionally, ask some relatively good questions - I think he comes across as a guy who just kisses his guests' asses but that's just part of his technique.

Don't do it! If Prince could put up with the humour and mild sarcasm I'd prefer to see him on Jonathan Ross.... you have totally hit the nail on the head there....parky is truly bloody awful; yet he is somehow perceived as the god of the interview technique!!! mr woss....good idea...not sure if prince would like mixing it in the Green Room with the other guests before hand though....imagine if the Little Britain guys were in there with him....ha ha ha....now THAT's dream telly!

parkinson is shit and dull these days, jonathon ross just blabs on more than his actual guests (like when ben stiller and owen wilson were on). not sure which would be better, lol.

Fuck Parkinson, he tals as though he's got Parkinson's disease. Motherfucker slurs his words more than a pisshead at a wedding reception.

I'm no fan of Parkinson really, but everyone else would either be too much (Norton, Ross), too slimy (Skinner, Richard and Judy) or totally useless. So it has to be Parkinson

I say get Dimbleby or Paxman 2 interview Prince. They could start about his comments on Ronnie talk 2 Russia, then about his criticism of the first Gulf War and then just completely bombard him with questions about Jehovah witness' and their involvement in Al Quaeda ![]() baby!!! maybe ur right i don't know who you're talking abt but that pic is to bad

In an ideal world I'd like to see Prince on a Jules Holland show..he could chat and then PLAY. However I'll take Parkinson....any chance to see Prince on a UK tv show is to be applauded.

There is something worse than Parkinson and thats 'Des and Mel'. They have a lot of music acts on, but the show stinks big time. The Jonathon Ross thing might have been good but.....he was a big prince fan....but now thinks nearly everything since 'sign of the times' stinks. He would probably tell Prince so. I'm not so sure he was a big Prince fan , he was on "Never mind the buzzcocks" (UK comedy pop quiz) a few years back and during the guess the intro round they gave him "When Doves Cry" .When he didnt get it and they played the proper intro he said hed never heard the song in his life I do enjoy his chatshow but just cos he says hes a big fan of someone dont beleive it , he tells pretty much every guest hes ever had on he's "genuinely a huge fan" of their work... Its got to tie into the UK portion of the tour, whats the point of promoting the tour months too early. This is very good news. IF its true. www.goldiesparade.co.uk - 3121

I honestly think he should get down to Johnny Vaughan's shed for his show.

Parky's pretty shit now. Just asks safe boring questions. I think that's the only way he can get the big stars on nowadays.
"London, i've adopted a name that has no pronounciation.... is that cool with you?"
"YEAH!!!" "Yeah, well then fuck those other fools!"

thanks 4 the heads up. maybe your mate can get me a ticket aswell. parky aint so bad really, if it means we get some live stuff, i would happily watch helen keller interview him.

Parky is such a tedious ass-kisser. Yeah I know everyone loves him coz he's congenial, northern, and reminds them of their granddad or something (only reeking slightly less of piss and booze perhaps)... but his interview technique is so tired. I suppose at least the interview would be fairly safe, I can't see Parky asking anything too awkward.
