Yeah, if you ask me he's been bored of playing this song since 1992...and frankly, I've been bored of hearing him play it...but I suppose it's the inevitable tour opener.
Let's just hope that whole streamers falling thing isn't gonna stay in the show. That is CHEESIFIED, and Prince looks stupid with streamers hanging offa his jacket. I still like the part where he's playing guitar...but wow, I could name 300 Prince songs EASY that I'd so much rather hear him play. No confusion, no tears. No enemies, no fear. No sorrow, no pain. No ball, no chain.

I agree... he sounds bored to death.
I would be too if I were him. Either rewrite the song dramatically to maintain interest of don't play it. But if he's this disinterested in concert, it's going to be lame. | |

my media player won't play it very well so i'll have to wait for the quicktime file when it's available but yes indeed it seems P put his stamp on it. altho he kinda sounds and looks like he's hamming it up a bit. | |
