What % of orgers really are into Prince?

Just to throw it out there, what percentage of orgers are really into Prince's music? I think it is only about 10% or less who really can appreciate what Prince is doing musically. The rest simply what a fomat to launch from.

Absolutely....he is an incredible artist. When I was younger, before marriage and kids, I was more devoted to collecting everything that I could get my hands on. Now, I am so much more busy and simply don't have the time like I used to (not to mention, I need to save money). I will always be into Prince though and continue to collect whatever he puts out. Still, the majority of what I listen to is Prince, Prince, Prince. I never tire of him. How can anyone that is into him get sick of listening to his music. I mean, he has composed sooo much with such variety, including songs written for other artists as well.

You're kidding right? I mean, we're all into Prince. Anyone who says they're here just because "it's a cool place to hang out" are fooling themselves.

And you don't have to love everything he puts out to be really into him. I mean, I think someone who truly respects the man's music understands that not everything he is going to do is going to be great. Some stuff is better than others.

It's more like worshipping the guy if you think he can do no wrong.

My b/f and i have been watching alot of Prince music videos. It was only about 2 months ago that we watched Purple Rain (first time for me)
I really enjoyed it and thought it was hilarious (especially piecing clips from the music videos, and i always wondered why Wendy had that look of disgust on her face after Prince kisses her when he sings Purple Rain)

Yeah and i have this community to thank for all the information...
I am still getting into his music - yet its so hard to get over here, unless i order through Europe.

Who's this Prince dude you all keep talking about?
