Favorite incarnation of the NPG for 2004 ?

Mine favorite NPG would be:

BASS : Rhonda ( but I still miss Sonny T.)
2nd GUITAR : Wendy
KEYBOARDS: Renato Neto, Morris Hayes, and/or Lisa if Wendy´s playing guitar
SAX: Mr. Eric Leeds
DRUMS: John Blackwell ( but I still miss Michael B.)...too sad Sheila´s spine is causing too much pain to go on a long tour..but then again...
PERCUSSION: (?) Sheila E.
and some occasional appearances by Mr. LM1, he was tight on the Dance Electric and She´s Always In My Hair... smile
The most difficult choice would be keys...Dr.Fink, Mr.Hayes, Renato Neto, Lisa were all great and added their own style to the music.

I think Prince should have left the name 'NPG' with the original band. The new band is great
but should have had a new name (or no name at all). Imagine if Prince had still called the
Sign O' The Times / Lovesexy band 'The Revolution', it just wouldn't have been right.

Yeah, that´s what I´ve been thinking , too. At the celebration 2002 I assumed that the current band doesn´t really have a name at all, especially because he kept saying "Prince and the band" as opposed to "Prince and the NPG"...no name would have been better.
The NPG moniker without Sonny, Michael and Morris just doesn´t work for me.
