The most recent episode of the Dave Chapelle Show on comedy central features a hilarious story told by Eddie Murphy's brother Charlie about Prince. In a segment called "Charlie Murphy's True Hollywood Stories," Charlie recounts a story about Prince inviting Eddie and Charlie over to his house to listen to some music, and Prince then challenges Charlie and his crew to a game of basketball. Charlie talks about how stunned he was when Prince rocked his crew. Its an amazingly funny bit, with Dave Chapelle doing the most hilarious Prince impression I've ever seen. So damn funny.

My favorite lines:
Murphy on Prince's angry look after Murphy called Prince's shirt a "blouse": "That didn't come from the Men's department"
On Prince's outfit: "He was dressed like a figure skater'.

Did anyone see Chapelle clown on Rick James last week, too? Funniest bit I've seen all year on any comedy show. Looking forward to tonight's bit.

that was funny. so was the rick james one. "i wish i had more hands so i could give those titties four thumbs down!!" "DARKNAAAAASSSSS!!!!!" "WHAT DID THE FIVE FANGAS, SAY TO THE FACE....SLAP!!!". that prince one....i was laughing the whole time. i missed a lot of the dialogue. when he started humping the basketball, i lost it. i swear i was about to start a thread on this.

It was funny indeed, makes me glad he doesn't wear that stuff anymore. Funny he follows it up with a Rick James parody

I came 2 work 2day feeling like I had 2 post this show...

I was rollin'... 2 me, the "I'm bored... let's shoot some hoop" was hilarious... also, Dave used a real deep voice, which most Prince impressions miss out on. People are always surprised at Prince's speaking voice.

I wanna see a skit of around 1999 times when Prince overtook Rick James and and all the magazines were pitting them against each other. It should also cover when Prince was his opening act.

I also wanna see a skit of the meeting between Micheal Jackson and Prince where Jackson was silently given the box of "voodoo" trinkets by prince, and he gets scared. There's an account of this in some jackson bio book. And when they play pool and Prince knocks a bal right into jackson's crotch.
