I got into Prince when I was about fourteen or fifteen, I first saw him live at fifteen, Purple Rain came out when I was sixteen, but I think if I was born ten, fifteen, or twnty years later I would still be a Prince fan, if you were a lot younger would you still be a Prince fan?

I would say yes. My taste in men and music would more
likely be the same therefore, I would be just as into
Prince as I am now.

I don't know...I doubt it. I'm sure I'd be into his stuff, but I wouldn't be as big a fan as I am.

I was a huge fan in the 70 & 80s. Guess you could say I came of age with Prince. I just didn't think anybody made music like him. My favorite music is from that era. If I were 15 or 16 years old now, I probably wouldn't be that big a fan. Times change, people change... But, it nice too see that he continues to attract new fans all the time.

In addition to being a musical, artistic and cultural force to be reckoned with (and oh yeah, a GENIUS), Prince came along at just the right time in my life...and it's VERY doubtful that would happen to a 10- or 11-year-old kid these days...and Prince has made sure that it's harder than EVER to get your hands on any of his classic stuff (let alone stumble across it!)...so he'll just become more and more obscure...a legend, to be sure, but an obscure one. Pity.
