Maybe the "M" on the dinnerplate is for Prince's wife?? This would have combined his symbol at the time and her first initial. I don't know her name but that's one possibility. The plate is on ebay search under Prince Custom Lenox Dinnerplate in the Rock and Roll memorabilia category. It's very cool and bidding is going quick. | |

The 'M' was for Mayte. Those plates were from the home in Spain, I think. They showed pictures of it in 'In Style' magazine back when 'Rave' came out. | |

I wonder what Prince (or Mayte) did with all those plates. I'm sure Prince doesn't eat off of them anymore cuz he doesn't want to be reminded of Mayte.

The "M" is for Mayte... They were the plates used for the wedding... There were also napkins and such made with the same moniker.
